US Customs Clearance for Imported Vehicles
Importing a vehicle from China into the USA requires EPA and DOT compliance documentation, formal customs entry, and applicable duties. FreightChina.com handles the complete clearance process — entry filing, EPA/DOT forms, duty payment, and port agent coordination.
EPA & DOT Compliance
All imported vehicles must meet EPA emissions and DOT safety standards. Vehicles not meeting US standards require modification by a registered importer (RI). We coordinate with registered importers for non-compliant vehicles.
Duty & Tariff Calculation
Passenger vehicles from China are subject to Section 301 tariffs. We calculate your complete landed cost including all duties, MPF, and applicable additional tariffs before shipment so there are no surprises at the port.
Port Agent Coordination
We coordinate with port agents at your US destination port for vehicle discharge, temporary storage, and release to your transporter, dealer, or auction facility.
